What we do

We collect used cooking oil, animal fats, and grease trap waste from local restaurants and providers.

Waste is filtered, then converted through transesterification using methanol and a catalyst. Glycerin is separated, and the biodiesel is purified, washed, and dried to meet fuel standards.

All raw materials are processed at Yale Energy's state of the art facilities, to be located in Seattle, Washington.
In the past, we have indirectly supplied B100 biodiesel fuel to Washington State Ferries, trucking fleets, and semi-haulers operating on B10 to B20 blends. This helped reduce emissions and meet state mandates for cleaner, locally sourced fuels compatible with modern diesel engines. These deliveries were made under prior operations and through different entities managed by our team.
102 metric tons of CO₂ kept out of atmosphere
90,000 pounds of used cooking oil diverted from landfills
68,000 gallons of water conserved by choosing biodiesel over petroleum diesel
Our Location
